MJ is a guide trained and certified by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides & Programs. She is mostly retired from over 15 years of climate advocacy, but continues to advocate for protection of our climate, forests and oceans. Guiding participants in nature and forest therapy walks allows for all of us to spend more time outdoors while savoring the practice of slowing down and deepening our relationships with ourselves and our surroundings.
A long-time student of yoga, she is grateful to help others add nature and forest therapy to their health and wellness practices. She enjoys no-till gardening and cooking locally raised and sourced food. She serves as a member of the board of The Greene School and the Merlyn Climate Grants.
